ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrive in Guangzhou (D)
You will be met on arrival at Guangzhou Airport and transferred by private vehicle to your four-star accommodation for the next five nights. Your hosts will be waiting to greet you at the hotel, and your room will be available for check-in on arrival. After a quick freshen up, we will meet for an orientation walk to get your Canton Fair Buyer Badge, and discover the local area restaurants and shopping. This evening we will meet for dinner and drinks at one of our favourite local eateries.
Day 2: Canton Fair (B)
After meeting for breakfast to discuss the day’s plans, you will be taken by bus to the Fair site. Your host will personally escort you around the Fair to familiarise you with the layout and how it all works. This will help you to find the areas of greatest interest to you and to maximise your time at the fair over the following days. At the end of the Fair day we will return by bus to the hotel. The evening is free for you to explore Guangzhou. Your hosts will provide dining and entertainment recommendations and options for sightseeing and shopping.
Days 3-4: Canton Fair (B)
Each morning we will meet at breakfast to discuss the day and we will be taken by bus to the Fair site, where you can spend your day viewing, talking and connecting. Your hosts will be available to assist if you need advice or help in making connections. Feel free to book in a time with Mike if you want specific assistance. The bus returns to the hotel from 4pm after which you are free for the evening, or you may want to join with your hosts for adventures!
Day 5: Canton Fair (B,D)
After breakfast and your day at the Fair, we will meet this evening for an included dinner at one of our favourite local restaurants to celebrate your successes.
Day 6: Tour component finishes (B)
After breakfast you will be transferred by bus to the Fair site for the final morning, where vendors have samples and products on sale. The Fair closes at midday, after which you will be transferred back to the hotel. After checkout, you will have a free afternoon, and will be collected from the hotel for your transfer to the airport. If you have chosen to join us on our Shenzhen extension, we will depart the hotel for our short journey to Shenzhen.
OPTIONAL ADDON TO SHENZHEN
Day 6: Guangzhou to Shenzhen
We take an early afternoon private transfer from Guangzhou to our four-star Shenzhen hotel. After check-in we will take a walk around the local area to familiarise ourselves and do some shopping and enjoy the local delicacies. You have the option to join your hosts this evening at the most amazing spectacular local nightclub and experience the awesome buzz and excitement of live DJs, cool bartenders, and the opulence and extravagance that is part of the Shenzhen nightlife scene. An experience not to be missed!
Day 7: Shenzhen (B,D)
After breakfast, we head for a shopping frenzy at the electronic markets. In the afternoon we might have a massage and a visit to the hairdresser (this is an experience not just for the ladies). If you still have energy left after last night, join your hosts for another evening of sightseeing, food and other adventures.
Day 8: Tour component finishes (B)
After breakfast, you will have time for last minute shopping or sightseeing. This afternoon you will be transferred by private vehicle back to your Guangzhou hotel, or Guangzhou Airport if you are flying out this evening.
OPTIONAL EXTENSION IN GUANGZHOU
Day 6: Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town (D)
After the close of the Fair, we take an early afternoon private transfer to our four-star hotel in Guangzhou’s vibrant Zhujiang New Town, the city’s modern CBD. After the busy pace of the Fair, it’s a chance to slow down, unwind, and enjoy a different side of Guangzhou. Our evening begins with a hosted Cantonese dinner, followed by a relaxed walk along the Pearl River with views of Haixinsha Island and Guangzhou's spectacular skyline.
Day 7: Guangzhou (B)
After breakfast, we enjoy a morning focused on personal wellbeing at one of Guangzhou’s modern international-friendly dental clinics. Designed as a comfortable preventive health experience, the consultation offers coordination and support throughout. Your hosted experience includes:
- English-supported consultation
- Digital dental imaging
- Professional dental cleaning
- Personal oral health assessment and report.
The afternoon is yours to enjoy. Maybe get an eye test and glasses at a modern optical centre, or spend your time exploring Guangzhou’s premium shopping, dining and entertainment district around Taikoo Hui and Tianhe CBD. This evening offers a relaxed end to your stay, or if you have any energy left you may choose to join your hosts for some Guangzhou nightlife at a rooftop bar.
Day 8: Tour component finishes (B)
After breakfast, you will have time for last minute shopping or sightseeing. This afternoon you will be transferred by private vehicle back to your Guangzhou hotel, or Guangzhou Airport if you are flying out this evening.
